Prayer Summit - 5th May 2008
April 12th, 2008

We live in a period where much of what is heard or said about the youth is all the negative things they are doing - under age sex, binge drinking, smoking and illicit drug taking, antisocial and intimidating behaviour, grafitting, and the list goes on and on…
However, very few facilities for recreation and learning of positive and socially acceptable behaviour are made available to our youth. Little interest is taken in the needs of these precious youth, upon whose shoulders, the future of our society depend! It’s time all of us, in particular, those in positions of trust send positive messages of acceptance, affirmation and love to our youth; find ways to engage with them to address their social and emotional needs and guide them in making informed choices for a better future.
We at Living Springs Ministries, pledge to do all we can to give the youth in our community a hope for a brighter future. As a step towards this, we’re launching “Youth Talking Point” - a weekly discussion, fun activities and challenging games forum designed to achieve the afore mentioned aims. To introduce this youth project, we invite you and friends to join us in a Musical Concert dubbed “Accepted in Love - the way I am” with Phil Merriman & Band in performance at the Market Weighton School on Friday 9th November, 2007. Time: 7.00 pm prompt. Admission is FREE to all! This will be a night to remember!! Don’t miss this great and exciting opportunity!!!
